Back at "The Red Lion" in the Village on July 18th. This is a great venue for us and we always have a blast and there is always plenty of surprise guest artists showing up to sit in. Join us for a litttle rock and alot of roll.

Talked to the folks at The Westside Village Tavern in NJ and will be doing some nights there so keep watching for upcoming dates.

Just heard that Tommy James will be joining The Guitar Club for Men at The Red Lion on Bleeker St in the heart of the Village for some tunes and some fun. Join us and hear another legend !

Jono was featured in a recent national pharmicutical shoot for "The Heros of Diabities". The shoot is about patients overcoming this disease and the friends that stand by them. He was featured with both his main guitars and did an impropmtu concert for the staff and models during the shoot. Look for the ads as it was a  national campaign and will be featured in many magazines in the near future.

Jono is one of the featured artists for "Chak Radio" this month. Along with the new Julia Roberts Movie there are some very interesting artists being featured. Look at "Chak Radio NJ" for info.

Did the filming of Col Morris in the upcoming documentary "Alien Connection" which is related to a story never heard but true about Area 51 and the crash.

The dates are set for the shooting of the new documentary "Alien Connection" directed and produced by Mike Corriere. Location will be in Upstate NY and it looks to be quite a documentary. Look for Jono as Col. Morris.

Myself and Lou Volpe will be appearing every Thursday 9pm at Santorini Taverna in Ft Lee NJ. Santorini Taverna is located at 2020 Central Road. Call 201-947-2055 for reservations and information. This is a very "Up Close" location to see the duo and all the special guests who will be stopping by. Join us !

On March 1st Gene Cornish and the Guitar Club for Men performed at BB Kings in NYC at a Fundraiser called "Rockers on Broadway" Rocks to Rebuild For Hati's Children. As the closing act for the 1st show we had a blast. Little Steven (From Bruce Springstein) joined us for a song and even introduced the band. The show was run by Donnie Kher who also joined us. The final number featured all the acts in a version of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin" led by no other than Constatine Maroulis who jumped over after he closed "Rock of Ages" down the block. We all look foward to joining the team whenever they call as they have been at this for 17 years now. Larry Gatlin, Kate Taylor, Christian Hoff, Vinnie Pastore, Alice Ripley also appeared as special guests. Lookin foward to returning real soon.

On Friday the 5th of February I'll be playing for a very special group of people. The patients and staff at the Adult Training Center for Cerebal Palsy of NJ. This is not a show for the public but any musicians out there should consider giving back just a couple of hours out of your day for these indivduals who can't get out and deserve our best. I already stated to the Hospital I would be more than willing to go to their other locations. If you play and you have an hour, please consider this very worthwhile cause.

Last night (Thurs. Sept 24th) Myself and Lou Volpe had the chance to perform one of the tunes from the upcoming CD live on the Joey Reyonds show. It was a blast and Mr Reyonlds immediatly asked us to return again soon when the CD is finished. We were joined by Gene Cornish of the Young Rascals who has a long time relation with Mr Reyonlds so the interviews were very light hearted. The show kicked off with a tune from the great vocalist / song stylist Stevie Holland who is promoting her new show "Love, Linda" with arrangements by Gary Friedman. We will be back on the show as soon as the CD is finished.

We will be there every other Thursday in the fall so please check out the calaner for the dates and join us !

The show at Groove in NYC was a smash ! The "Guitar Club for Men" did the first show in a year and it was like they never left. Keep checking for upcoming dates for more shows. Guitar Club is Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Gene Cornish with Jono Frola, Lou Volpe, Mark Brandenburg, Anthony Vigiolotti and Newcomer on bass Bill Bardley.

Station KZGM in Cabool, Mo 65689 will be airing some songs from the "Misty Roses" CD in the very near future. Check it out !

The folks at Palmer's Crossing have asked us to perform every other Thursday starting July 23rd at 7pm. We urge you to support the venues that support the Arts.

Just to let you know myself and Lou Volpe will be at Palmer's Crossing for the rest of the summer. This is turning out to be a great venue to see the duo in action. Songs from our upcoming CD are getting great response. Stop by and join the fun.

The gig with Guitar Club for Men has been cancelled due to personal reasons. We are scheduled to return there in the early fall.

Just got the news that the Jono & Lou Volpe Show will be at this wonderful venue every Thurs. in June and possibly for the rest of the summer. Drop on by - Support the Venues that support the Arts !

We would like to thank Mike and Joe for their support and wish them the best in the future . It was a good gig for myself and Lou Volpe and we will miss the place.
